Equipment Certificate (SDPPI)

1. The Purpose Of Certification 
   The purpose of the fulfilment of the technical requirements of appropriate Government Regulation No. 52 Year 2000 about the Organization of Telecommunications:

   1. Ensure the connectedness in telecommunication networks;

   2. Prevent annoying each other between tools and telecommunications devices;

   3. Protect the public from possible losses arising due to the use of telecommunication devices and tools;

   4. Encourage the development of industry, innovation and engineering national telecommunications technology.

2. The procedure of certification and Labelling

   1. Certification 
      Certification process and procedures need to be known and understood by the applicant (manufacturer/importer) to the creation of the efficiency of time, cost and effort.
      All the requirements needed for the certification process should come first in full by the applicant, to ease the process of certification.
       

   2. Label 
      The holder of a certificate is required to provide labels on each tool/telecommunication that has been certified as well as on the packaging and labeling of the implementation report to the Directorate General of Post and device Resources and Informatics (Ditjen SDPPI) up. The Director of the standardization of Pos Devices and Informatics at the latest 30 (thirty) days after the certificate is published.
      In this case, the labels cannot be attached on the tools and telecommunication devices then the mandatory label attached on the wrapping or packaging, manual tools and telecommunication devices.
